Bloomsday

is a resource center & film series

dedicated to planetary thriving

                                  Furthermore, Bloomsday

                                     is a way of thinking.

It is an experiment in imagination

based on a principle:

What we prepare for, we summon.

In a world of great change, full of doomsday preppers,

we are learning how to become Bloomsday Preppers.

By preparing for a blooming future,

we create it.

Rather than hoarding and hiding,

we are finding security in sharing, in community.

We care to imagine a future that is not just survivable,

but thrive-able.

We employ curiosity in crisis,

and use the fuel of enthusiasm more than that of obligation.

We feel our aliveness to be miraculous,

and so we make room for more miracles.

A great force nurtures us, that of life itself.

And so we co-create with it, and learn it's patterns of renewal.

At this time, there are emerging leverage points for planetary thriving.

With our attention and care, we can reinforce them.

The methods are numerous -

practice, protest, learn, implement, iterate, share, grow...

The intention is one -

Thriving for all. Freedom for all. One world, one family.

A new world

emerges through each of us.

Creativity is the way,

Hope is the strategy.

Welcome to Bloomsday.

Welcome home.

Bloomsday is a creative project exploring the intersection of ecology, culture, and imagination. Through storytelling, art, community gathering and practice, and resource sharing, we seek to illuminate how life renews itself - even in the midst of uncertainty and change.

Our mission is to rekindle a living relationship with the Earth and with one another. We invite people to feel deeply, to grieve honestly, and to respond with creativity and care.

We believe that what we prepare for, we summon - and that tending to the emergent leverage points of planetary renewal is to summon a future we won't just survive, but thrive in.

Welcome to Bloomsday.
